The Angels section is an intermediate level, but don't let that intimidate you. This blanket is worth the effort and will be loved by both parents and babies. It coordinates perfectly with the Angels Around Me Sweater.

Knit with 440 (660, 1100) yards DK-weight yarn using U.S. size 8/5mm needles.

Finished sizes:
  • Small: 21" x 26"
  • Medium: 27" x 32"
  • Large: 33" x 38"

  • Designed by Betty Fay Wallace.

Am surprised to see that so many have found this pattern reasonably easy. I have been knitting for years and am finding it difficult to follow this pattern. Will put it down for awhile and try again

I'm still having a hard time with this pattern. I end up with 3 too many stitches. The pattern is so pretty that I will keep on until I get it right.

It's a beautiful blanket. It is definitely an intermediate level pattern, but the pattern is not difficult to follow. I am extremely happy with this purchase!

This is a really fun pattern even though it looks complicated. I love the challenge of three dimensional motifs. Though knitting experience is necessary, the pattern is not difficult and the directions are very, very clear. I completed the angel rows in about 2 1/2 days and rest of the pattern is just seed stitch for a few rows and some stockinette, then the chevron. I would recommend this pattern to anyone who has knitted for a while. I will repeat that the pattern directions are nice and clear. Enjoy it!
