The instructions for this quilt are thorough and easy to understand. The squares intertwine with each other giving it a very interesting look! The pinwheels can be added for an extra touch.

    I used this pattern to make a throw as a Christmas gift for my son, and it turned out stunning like the pattern name. However, it was a lot more complicated to make than I had expected, with each of the 20 blocks composed of 25 3x3 squares that were mostly half-square and quarter-square triangles that had to be pieced and then trimmed. The pattern directions were very explicit about pressing, but even with that there were places that had large bumps where multiple pieces came together that caused skipped stitches when doing the longarm quilting. The end result was worth it, but it will be a long time before I tackle this pattern again.

    I am finding this difficult because there are no colors on the directions on how to assemble the blocks. At least on my pattern it is all just black and white. Therefore it is hard to figure it out. Also wish I had a larger color picture to look at with the pattern. Maybe it's just me but I'm having a hard time. Also if I had listened and made each block before cutting, I probably would not have gone forward with this pattern.Having said that I'm sure it will be lovely when it's finished.

    Truth in advertising - this pattern really is simply stunning. Looks like it would be complicated but it's rather easy to pull together. I loved everything about it.Wish I could attach a picture.
