I love making baby quilts for family and friends. When I learned my niece, Lisa was expecting, I was excited to start making one for her. I asked her if she had a particular colour or theme in mind for the nursery. After some thought, she and her husband said they'd love a Noah's Arc theme. I was delighted to find this charming pattern online and am busy working away on it now. Instructions are clear for many applique components. Suggested colours for fabrics include many reds and blues, perhaps more fitting for a boy than a girl. However, regardless of the unknown gender, I'm sure it will be appropriate and loved for many years to come.
