Celebrate your outdoor spaces with a whimsical dragonfly garden stake and a softly glittering wind chime.

In this Creative Living episode brought to you by Annie's Creative Studio, Country Sampler special projects director Susan Wagner presents two quick and easy projects you can make to add sparkle and glamour to your garden.

In this episode, you'll learn how to:
  • Make a Dragonfly garden stake from copper piping, wire and beads without soldering.
  • Combine a natural wood branch and sparkling glass objects to create a wind chime.
Materials:

Garden Stake
  • Beads in assorted colors, shapes and sizes
  • 20 gauge copper wire
  • 3/8 inch flexible copper tubing
  • 1/16 in ch brass rod
  • 1/8 inch brass rod, 3 foot length
  • Epoxy adhesive or hot glue
  • Wire cutters
  • Needle-nose pliers
Wind Chime
  • Wood branch or driftwood
  • Several small screws eye hooks with closed tops
  • 20 gauge copper wire
  • Wire cutters
  • Needle-nose pliers
