This design was made for Gleaning for the World: Teddy Bear Brigade, an organization that sends stuffed animals to children in need of comfort across the United States and around the world! A stuffed animal is not just a toy but a friend and confidant. By listening to how children interact and talk with their new friends, parents are able to get insight into how children are processing their trauma. This insight allows parents to help address their children’s emotional needs. See the end of the pattern for more information on donating.
